Who we are

Community House Copenhagen is a volunteer-run community organisation based at Studiestræde 24, Copenhagen, Denmark, supporting migrant workers in navigating the Danish labour market and beyond. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What information we collect

We only collect personal data that you provide to us directly — for example your name, email address, and the content of your message — when you use the contact form on this website or otherwise get in touch with us.

Why we process your information

We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry and to provide the support, activities, or services you have asked about. The legal basis for this is your consent in submitting the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long we keep your information

We keep contact form submissions only for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up, after which they are deleted.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your message may be seen by our volunteers who handle enquiries, and by service providers who help us run this website (such as our hosting and email providers), acting under our instructions.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict how we process it, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark — dt@datatilsynet.dk — if you believe we have not handled your data properly.
